somebody got their period...
Well we were hopeful with some of the unique symptoms and maybe we had a chemical pregnancy, but we just found out that someone got their period this evening. Something we didn't mention, and may have had played a role in this failed attempt, is that our surrogate stopped taking the pill at the end of July/early August. I've heard it takes about three months to get everything out of your system so we'll keep trying...just two more weeks and we'll do another round of inseminations. It's something to look forward to!

ReplyDeleteDoug and Bill - I am so sorry!! ugh - so fruatrating!! That's a very good point about the pill, it might have thrown her hormone levels off somewhat. Here's hoping that this next cycle is the lucky one. You guys have a great attitude!

I'm so sorry it didn't work this time. Those birth control pills can really mess with women's cycles. I'm so glad your going to keep trying. It is a numbers game and you are definately due!
ReplyDeleteMy friend stopped her pill and got pregnant twice within the first month....SO the 3 month rule is not always the case. Here's wishing you a luck for a positive next cycle. :)
